Omaha Softball Series, Inc overall mission:

The Omaha Softball Series, Inc. is a non-profit (501-c3) organization that is trying to revitalize adult softball tournaments in Omaha.  Omaha was once known as the “Softball Capital of the World”.  The mission of the Omaha Softball Series, Inc is to bring that recognition back to Omaha, while helping to instill good sportsmanship and team building in the youth of Omaha.

Current Omaha Softball Series Projects

Adams Park Complex/Adams Community Center Project

Adams Park Complex Rebuild Project mission:

The Omaha Softball Series, Inc will use proceeds from a series of adult softball tournaments to rebuild the Adams Park Complex.  Once the fields are again safe for play, the Omaha Softball Series, Inc would like to continue to assist the Adams Community Center in organizing and providing equipment and volunteers for several youth programs including youth slow-pitch, girls fast-pitch, and boys baseball.  The goal is within the next two years we will be able to assist the Adams Community Center in providing these programs for the youth of the neighborhood.

Boys and Girls Clubs of the Midlands (Council Bluffs) Project

OSS Bahnsen Park Series:

The Omaha Softball Series, Inc will use proceeds from a series of adult softball tournaments to help fund youth sports activities offered by the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Midlands-Council Bluffs Club.  In our continuing effort to assist Kelly Sears and the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Midlands-Council Bluffs, the Omaha Softball Series, Inc will continually work towards assisting in organizing,  providing equipment and volunteers for several youth programs including youth slow-pitch, girls fast-pitch, and boys baseball.  The goal being, that within the next four years, to have established an RBI program for the youth of the Council Bluffs.
